Memorial Weekend

We had visitors (our long time friends Su, David and Colin) from San Diego this weekend and we just hung out at home. The kids played and the adults just relaxed and caught up with our lives. I was introduced to a new singer, Zee Avi, from Malaysia and loved her music. Check out her website. You can check her out on You Tube as well. My favorite song so far is Bitter Heart. What a great talent!

Hayley's Photo Shoot

As promised, Hayley's Photo Shoot pictures can be seen here (May 2 blog). The photographer is so talented. She was able to capture beautiful pictures of Hayley even though she was fussy during the shoot. We love all the photos. Here are some of our favorites:

Happy Mother's Day!

Today is a special day for all Moms. We are taking it easy at home and enjoying the quiet time now as both kids are down for a nap! Ethan helped mommy bake a lemon cake in the morning which turned out yummie! Do I see a future dessert chef??

Do I Have to Share?

Ethan still thinks that the bouncer is his...he sits and bounces on it as soon as Hayley is off of it. I'm trying to get him to understand that it is too small for him...Look at his smile and his satisfaction when he is in it.

1-Month Check-Up

Well, it is that time again for well-child visits to start for babies. Hayley had her 1-month visit at the Dr's and she did well. She weighed 7lbs 15oz and measured 20 inches. She has definitely grown! I guess I should stop buying newborn diapers soon and start switching to 3 months clothes. She also got her 2nd dose of Hep B shot and she was not happy. Maybe because she got a boring bandaid instead of those cartoon character ones.

1-Month Celebration

We had a 1-month celebration for Hayley even though she didn't really participate. The moms made a delicious dinner of chicken rice, lemongrass pork and soup. Of course we had the red eggs and Ethan enjoyed playing with them and organizing them. Hayley was sleeping like a baby while we ate our yummie dinner.
