Hayley rolled over all of a sudden today! She has been sort of trying for a few days before, but did not really succeed. She is funny, when we are all watching her she doesn't roll over, but as soon as we look elsewhere, she rolls over!

I'd Rather Write....
We noticed that Ethan has been interested in writing or drawing or doodling for the past few weeks. He is also holding a pen pretty well. It started out with his left hand and now he is holding a pen in his right hand. We're not quite sure which is his preferance yet. When given a pen or marker, he can sit in one place for quite a while. Doesn't he look very focused and serious here?

Happy 70th!
What a beautiful day! Mom turned 70 today and we celebrated with a nice yummie lunch at The Greene House at the Kierland Commons. Mom looks great and I hope that I will be as happy and positive as she is when I am her age. Happy Birthday Mom!

Future Gymnast?
Ethan has started his Toddler Gymnastic class a few weeks ago and he seems to like it. Ethan is actually pretty flexible and can pretty much do the forward roll and backward roll with ease. His balance is not too bad either on the Balance Beam (on the floor). We'll see how he does in the next few weeks. Check out his moves!

Hayley's First Plane Trip
My parents, Hayley and I took a trip to San Francisco/Napa Valley for our friend's wedding. It was Hayley's first trip on a plane. She did really well and slept through nicely. We all had a great time! Lee and Ethan stayed home and enjoyed some father/son bonding time.

4-Month Check-Up
Hayley went for her 4-month check-up today and she did great! She is now 13lbs 3.5oz (50%) and measured 24 1/2 inches (50-75%). I can't believe how big she has gotten...where did the time go? She is starting to laugh and loves people around. She wants to be with us when we're having dinner and would fuss if we leave her by herself in her bassinet or swing. She also seems to like to sit in the Bumbo seat instead of lying down. I guess while sitting up, she can check out her surroundings.
