Spring Break 2013 - Phoenix Zoo

We went to the Phoenix Zoo today with the Kans and had a great time even though it was a very hot day! We saw lots of different animals and learned a few new words. Here are the highlights:

Homemade Granola Bars

I came across this homemade granola bars recipe and tried it. It is so easy that the kids can make it as well. I omitted the almonds, but will make a separate batch with nuts and other grains the next time. Tastes yummie!



Spring Break 2013 - Arizona Science Center

I was able to get a couple of free passes to the Arizona Science Center from the Chandler Public Library and we spent the morning and early afternoon there. The kids had fun and there is always something new to learn.

Rhythm of the Dance

I won some tickets from Intel's Great Place to Work program to the Rhythm of the Dance - The Irish Dance Spectacular at the Chandler Center of Arts. It was a great show and the kids even enjoyed the performances. Hayley was clapping and dancing with them most of the time even while she was holding her popcorn cup! It was so cute! I wish I could have captured it on camera!
