Yakiniku Dinner at Home
After returning from his business trip from Japan, LK decided he wanted to try having Yakiniku at home. He researched on yakiniku grills and finally purchased one and we're ready to try it! We did our homework, got all the recipes and food together and had a fun time grilling all the yummie food.

Happy Birthday Ethan!
I can't believe Ethan is 7 years old. It seems like it was yesterday that he was just born. Well, this year he wanted to celebrate with his friends at Peter Piper and to share some cupcakes with his classmates at school. He also made several requests for dining out on his birthday, specifically at Denny's and Red Robin. He got them all and is one lucky boy!

Suns Game
The Great Place to Work Team at Intel has been great having events throughout the valley. I was able to win some tickets to the Suns Game and we all had a blast. The seats were great and the kids enjoyed their first Suns Game. It was the Suns vs. the Pistons. It was also Star Wars Night, so there were many Star Wars characters walking around.

Chef in Training
It seems like the kids like to help in the kitchen as they have been asking to cook with me whenever I cook. So, I took advantage of them helping when making dinner this evening. I actually enjoyed cooking with them though I wanted to just cut in and do it myself. I had to learn to ease up a little when they make a little mess! Maybe one day they will be cooking for us soon!

Our First Date
We decided to start a tradition now that the kids are a little older. We would each take a kid out on a date, once a month, rotating kids every month. Today was my first date with Ethan and we had fun. We went to Red Robin for lunch and then went shopping at Trader Joe's. We had some fun conversations, but he was a bit distracted as there were TVs at the restaurant and football was on. I am going to like this tradition and hope that we can continue for a long time to come.
