Happy Mother's Day 2013
I had a nice time this year starting with the kids greeting me with love at my bedside first thing in the morning and then hot yoga class followed by brunch with the family at Pecan Grove Restaurant & Pie Company. All moms got a free slice of yummie pie on this special day. We were too full to enjoy it at the restaurant, so we brought them home. There were over 30 kinds of pies to choose from. I also enjoyed all the kids' artwork and crafts for me. They sure made them with love and I will treasure them. After that the kids hung out with the grandparents and then I went for my massage. What a nice day way to end the day. Hope every mom had a nice day!

Happy New Year!
New Years Eve was spent at home with family and the Chau family. Lee Kiat made lamb stew hotpot (羊肉炉) and it was delicious! I made the red bean jello (红豆糕) for dessert which was also quite tasty. Then the kids got to play with some fireworks. What a fun night!

Happy Halloween!
Halloween was quite hectic this year - Hayley had the International Lunch at preschool and Ethan had a Fall party at kindergarten. We tried to have an early dinner and ended up taking longer as the kids just couldn't sit still - I guess they were excited and ready for trick or treating. Hayley loved her ladybug costume (thanks to aunty Christy and Lauren) and Ethan was just fine with his astronaut costume from last year. He even said he would want the same thing next year. We'll see. The kids got to go trick or treating with Bumble Bee Bellamie who we have not seen in months. Check out some of the pictures:
