We had another Chinese New Year get together (Lantern Festival - last day of Chinese New Year) at a local Chinese restaurant - Phoenix Palace. Ethan had a little too much fun and was so tired at the end of the night.....
This year we celebrated Chinese New Year with lots of good eating and several friends' birthday parties. It was also Hayley's first time in a Chinese dress. Ethan can say Gong Xi Gong Xi really well and the kids got their share of Hong Bao's.
Hayley tried some teething biscuit and really enjoyed chewing on it. I should have thought of this before as she was chewing on anything she can get a hold of. But it does get really messy once it starts getting soft....
Now that Hayley is mobile, Ethan likes to follow her around; imitates her crawling and now he thinks he is strong enough to "carry" her when he is just really holding her. While trying to get a good picture of the both of them, I caught some cute shots. Enjoy!
Hayley tried on her new sunglasses which she got from a friend's birthday party. She seems to like wearing it and decided to pose with her favorite dog. How cute!
Hayley is now 9 months old! Where did all the time go? Her checkup today went well; she weighed in at 16lbs 8.5oz (10-25%) and measured 26.5 inches (10-25%). She now has 2 bottom teeth, crawls everywhere, claps her hands and makes lots of sounds. She can also pull herself up and stand with support. She loves to eat and always has her eyes on our food. She also likes to play with Ethan and wants company. If we leave her in her crib or Pack N' Play, she would call for us. Now, let's see when she can start walking!
Hayley has 2 bottom teeth now and it seems like she wants to chew on anything she can get a hold of. Check this out...I never thought this would be tasty!
